Lyrical themes of existential crisis, contemporary American culture, & romantic love are given an extra ache by Paige Stark's haunting, molasses vocals. The Dream creates a world of its own-familiar yet esoteric, evoking a feel both classic and futuristic. The album is gracefully produced by vocalist/multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Paige Stark. Enlisting the talents of engineer Dan Horne (Cass McCombs, Allah-Las), local legend Joel Jerome (Cherry Glazerr, La Sera, Dios), and multi-instrumentalist Jon Brion to fill out the sound along with string arrangements by Nate Walcott (Bright Eyes) performed by the renowned Section Quartet.
