‘new’ artist in the Cold/Darkwave scene! Through melancholic synths, hypnotic basslines, and ritualistic atmospheres, (MY)RAGE builds a universe where goth aesthetics and 1980s darkwave sounds are reinterpreted through a modern sensibility, infused with electronic, coldwave, and alternative influences.The album’s imagery constantly moves between esotericism, witchy symbolism, and dreamlike dimensions: each track seems to evoke an emotional ritual, suspended between dreams and unease. Music thus becomes a liminal space where introspection, darkness, and transformation coexist. While maintaining a strong introspective and deeply emotional core, (MY)RAGE never abandons its more physical and pulsating soul: the record alternates ethereal and melancholic moments with incisive, hypnotic rhythms, also designed to thrive within the dark clubbing dimension. The tracklist features instant classics such as “Creature of June”, “Cold Hearted Snake” or “Modern Vampires”. The album’s focus track and beating heart of this new artistic era is “Hollow Way” though – a melancholic and hypnotic song. The album also includes two remixes of “Creature of June” and two tracks from the artist’s early beginnings: “Party!!!” and “Aft3r L!Fe”, presented here in reimagined, rearranged, and reinterpreted versions shaped by the new sonic identity of (MY)RAGE. Bio: MYLLA ISSUES is an Italian artist moving between darkwave and EBM, blending the atmospheres of the darker side of 1980s electronic music with contemporary influences. Her music explores inner landscapes, dreams, and hidden meanings through evocative and poetic songwriting. Since 2025, MYLLA ISSUES has developed an intense live activity across Italy and abroad, sharing the stage with Shad Shadows and Years of Denial. Several shows are already scheduled for the second half of this year in France and the United Kingdom, supporting Chameleons and Agonal Gasps. |
