Info:	„Sounds like a demotape by your favorite 80s band“...is the self-description of MY MANIFESTO from Pennsylvania/USA. Nick Comanici´s Soloproject is still very young and, after a first tape in 2023, MY MANIFESTO is now releasing its first album on YOUNG & COLD RECORDS! The self-description is very appropriate, although „demotape“ does not of course refer to the sound quality of the recordings - which is impeccable - but to the suggestion that the sound of the 80s is being openly tributed here. There is no attempt to advertise MY MANIFESTO as something innovatively new. Instead, there is diverse Darkwave that meanders between New Wave, New Romantic, Postpunk, Gothrock, Synthpop, Dark Electro and much more. And incredibly well done and very pleasing debut album, in a very positive sense! Some songs will also appeal to DJs, that are eager to try out lesser-known bands in clubs and the material on this album also promises to be a lot of fun live, because you can actually find echoes of bands that have characterised the Dark Scene over the last forty years in every song. It´s like meeting up with an old friend after a long time and getting on as if you´d never been apart. This debut album is a first statement from MY MANIFESTO that openly shows its influences. The next recordings will certainly show the way to a more independent style, the potential for one or two scene hits is definitely there! One song features the sensual vocals of Carrellee, the Electropop artist known for two strong albums (2022 + 2023) on Negative Gain Productions!
