The first edition of this – the third album from UK-based RUINIZER – sold out within a few weeks of release almost on pre-orders alone. This second edition comes in cheaper jewelcase format, while retaining the 8-page lyric booklet and the last copies of the sought-after CD2, and is again released in a hand-numbered limited edition of 100. By far the hardest music RUINIZER has released so far, with “The Faceless Aberration” Jay Ruin has returned almost full circle to the industrial black metal roots of his original and highly-regarded project CEDIGEST – and was mastered like every RUINIZER album so far by Jan L of NOISUF-X. CD2 “The Voiceless Augmentation” comprises 3 non-album extra tracks sandwiched between 2 alternate orchestral arrangements of tracks from the album itself. | |
