KLANGSTABIL. 30 years+ of sound exploration and musical innovation Klangstabil was founded in 1994 by Maurizio Blanco and Boris May - a creative project that has continuously broken new ground in electronic music. When the two musicians first met, Boris was not yet active in the music scene, while Maurizio was already deeply rooted in the world of electronic sounds. They quickly discovered a shared vision: not just to create music but to make it a completely new and immersive experience. This idea became the driving force behind Klangstabil and is reflected in the band’s name. At the outset, Klangstabil focused on intensive sound research without the intention of releasing their works. Their artistic foundation remains rooted in a clear philosophy: to truly understand sound and its effects, one must examine it from the perspective of its creation. They remain dedicated to answering the question: what comes next? This curiosity and drive for innovation make Klangstabil a unique force in the world of electronic music - yesterday, today, and in the future. Over the past three decades, Klangstabil’s sound has evolved significantly. Their musical spectrum has expanded from experimental sound collages to accessible yet profound electropop.
