Metropolis Records finally gave in to countless requests for a
re-release of one of the best selling albums ever released by
Metropolis - and a real classic of the Gothic scene! This much demanded re-release now comes in a slightly re-designed digipak-edition, based on the original artwork by Monica Richards! The entire album has been carefully re-mastered from ground up by William Faith himself earlier this year, for maximum dynamics and sound quality! This album is a true ESSENTIAL release of the genre (originally released on Tess Records in 1994, and re-released on Metropolis in 2001), and to listen to it in this much improved sound quality, makes the album sound fresh, as it was recorded yesterday! The original announcement for this album, from Audioglobe’s Newsletter No. 20 (2 december 1994): “Gothic dark structures, wonderful vocals, a surreal mixture of traditional ethno influences (Celtic, Gaelic, Eastern cultures…) and etheral spiraling soundscapes!
