acts' second album, originally released in 1985 on the now defunct
Divine Label (Mecanò, Fra Lippo Lippi, Norma Loy, Complot
Bronswick...) At last! No other words would be more appropriate, to describe this much overdue re-release! END OF DATA were a highly regarded French Cold Wave act, that landed two major hits with the albums 'Sahrah' (1984) and 'Danse votre Monde' (1985). The quartet originated from Rennes and formed in spring 1983. A third album was to be recorded in 1986, but after a last gig in Bretagne in late 1986, the band fell apart. A re-release of the band’s second album has been announced several times, but never happened due to some legal disputes – it is therefore with great pleasure, that Infrastition finally managed to got the permission for a first EVER re-release of this Cold Wave album, exactly 40 years after its original release in 1985! All 10 album tracks have been totally remastered in 2025 and a huge 10 bonus-tracks, rare live recordings from 1984 and 1986 have been added to this version. FRENCH COLD WAVE at its best! |
